“创想青年家”缘起WHY “DREAMAPARTMENT”?

这是一个奋斗的时代。在中国，有2.8亿年轻人正在为未来打拼，而百万首付、千万房价的现实，让他们难以拥有理想的家，在追梦的路上，住房成为一道坎。

 这是一个品质生活时代。设计，如何为年轻的追梦者助力？设计，如何突围事关民生的住房话题？这是建筑产业界共同的责任，也是学界、业界近几年开始持续思考的问题。

2018华·工坊国际建筑设计竞赛，有感于时代，催生于时代，以“创想青年家 Dream Apartment”为题，邀请全球年轻的设计师，打造未来居住产品，在华阳国际东莞建筑科技产业园真正落地，为未来城市提供建造样本。

Being in such an era of hard struggle. Two hundred and eighty million youngsters in China are fighting for their future. Yet, the 

unaffordable housing price whichhas risen to RMB ten millions with million_high down payment had forced them become “Generation 

Rent”who feel difficult to earn a house. 

Beingin such an era of quality living. How can design help young dream_chasers? How can design make breakthroughs concerning

livelihood and housing? To answer the questions are the responsibilities of the construction industry, and the retained propositions 

that need to think for academic circles and the industry.

The 2018 C·Design International Architectural Design Competition, feels with the era and is born in the times. With the theme of 

“Dream Apartment”, it sends invitations to outstanding young designers around the world to create future residential products and 

bring these to the CAPOL Dongguan Construction and Technology Industrial Park, offering construction samples for future cities.

The Competition is initiated by CAPOL International & Associates Group （CAPOL ) and co_hosted with School of Architecture & Urban 

Planning, Shenzhen University ( SAUP ) and ShenzhenFurniture Association ( SZFA ). 

We have invited the three international architectural deans Michael Rotondi, Zhuang Weimin and ZhongDekun along with the 

world's distinguished architects to supervise the Competition.

竞赛任务书Mission Book for the Competition

1、设计目标

本次竞赛以“创想青年家”为题，邀请全球年轻的设计师和建筑院校学生，打造未来公寓居住新模式。该模式应具有标准化、模块化、绿色生态的特点，鼓励在方案中运用装配式设计建造理念及技术。参赛者自主选择定位人群，通过对选定人群的生活方式进行系统性研究，探索适应未来的创新性居住新模式，并在空间、技术中有所体现。

2、设计要求

根据未来青年单身、双人、三口之家的家庭组成状态，需考虑三种不同的居住产品设计： 

注：

①     单人间与双人间大小相等，家庭房由单人间或双人间组合而成。产品是否设置阳台根据设计需要定，不受限制；

②     重点对梦想生活进行思考，通过合理的室内设计形成定型的居住产品；

③     需考虑通过不同居住产品的组合方式，形成有趣可变的空间和造型；

④     充分考虑共享空间设计，满足生活配套的内容，尽可能创造多种多样的活动空间供居住者交流互动，为梦想生活提供便利；

⑤     立面设计应突出青年公寓的气质形象，拒绝枯燥和单一的设计；

⑥     新时代新技术不断涌现，尽可能在设计中考虑节能、绿色、生态的技术应用；

⑦     大胆探索新材料和新结构构造，也可以对传统材料和构造做法进行新思考，充分体现材料本源之美，结构构造秩序之美。

3、指标及功能

①    建筑面积约20000 平方米，设计偏差宜控制在10%以内；

②    首层建筑面积及标准层面积不受限，实用率>70%；

③    地上建筑高度≤100 米，层高可以在2.9~3.9 米之间选取；

④    具体面积配比根据参赛者的设计意图自行决定，以鼓励创新为原则。

4、选址

本次竞赛不限定选址，参赛者可根据需求自行选择。

1.Design Goals

The theme for the Competition is “Dream Apartment”, and young designers and students from construction colleges around the 

world are invited to envision and build the future apartment housing models. 

The models should be standardized, modularized and be green andeco_friendly. We encourage the use of fabricated design concepts 

and technologies. 

The participants are free to choose their residents through whose lives they can study the lifestyles systematically, then explore the 

new housing model adapting to the future and the model can be manifested in space and technology.

2.Design Requirements

 Considering three types of housing products that are suited respectively to future singles, doubles and families of three:

① The size of the one_bed room should be equal to the two-bed room; The suite should combine one-bed rooms  or two-bed rooms.Balcony is not requisite 

but depends on the situation;

② Focus on thinking about the ideal life and to create a typical apartment product through reasonable interior design;

③ It is necessary to consider combining different apartment products to createan interesting and flexible space or typologies;

④Considering the design of the shared space in full to meet the living matched needs and creating as many and varied exchange spaces as possible torender 

the life convenient;

⑤The facade should highlight the temperament and image of the youth; it should not be boring and stereotyped;

⑥New era continues to outpour new technologies. Try your best to consider energy-saving,green and ecological technologies in your design;

⑦Boldly exploring new materials and new structures or thinking again about the traditional materials and construction practices to showcase the beauty of the

 materials and structural order at their best.

3.Indicators and Functions

①The building GFA is about 20,000m2, and the design deviation should be controlled within 10%;

②The ground floor are a and typical floor area are not confined. The floor efficiency >70%;

④ The building height ≤100m. The storey height can be decided between 2.9~3.9m;

④The unit area ratio can be decided by participants based on the principleof innovation.

4.Site 

No site is specified in the Competition, and participants can choose anywhere that suitshis/her design.
